Artist Statement

I have a passion for jewellery and my greatest inspiration is Art Nouveau because of the flowing movement jewelers create in the jewellery. My favorite metal to work with is silver. I love the colour of silver and also the nice shiny look when it is polished. I am also inspired by really fine detail in jewellery and the simple and effective shapes that you can create in jewellery. I also have a passion for old wood furniture because of the fine detail producers carved into it and the history of the furniture.
